The second edition of Gefle Metal Festival will take Place July 14th-15th. Just as the first year, there will be two days filled with hard metal such as thrash, black, death etc at the Gasklockorna area in Gävle, Sweden.
Gasklockorna is a wellknown festival area and it’s walking distance from Gävle city centre. Hotels, youth hostels and shops are close by and it’s easy to reach the festival with trains and busses. In the festival area’s proximity you will find a camping for tents and caravans.
At the festival area you will find a wide variety of food and drinks. The festival has got three stages; two outdoors and one Indoors.

FESTIVAL PASS

Age limit: 13 years.
The ticket is valid as festival entry Friday-Saturday.

CAMPING

The ticket is valid as entry to the camping site for one person. The Camping ground opens July 13th 13:00 and closes July 16th 14:00

PARKING CARAVAN/MOTORCYCLE

The ticket is valid as entry for one caravan or one motorcycle to the camping site. Please note that each person must have their own camping ticket.

PARKING

The ticket is valid for one car at the parking which is situated next to the camping site.

ACCREDITATION

We accept accreditation applications from 31 March to 30 June. Applications should be sent to: ackreditering@geflemetalfestival.se.

WRISTBANDS

Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband. The exchange is situated at the festival’s entrance will be open Thursday 12.00-19.00, Friday 11.00-00.30 and Saturday 12.00-00.30. A lost wristband will not be refunded.

COATCHECK

At the entrance you will have the possibility to leave clothes, bags, backpacks etc, this cost SEK 40 per item. Please note that for safety reasons no bags larger than 20 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm are allowed in the festival area.

CAMPING

The camping site is walking distance from the festival area, the address is Sältavägen. The camping opens Thursday July 13th at 12.00 noon and it closes Sunday July 16th 14.00. There are showers and toiilets in the camping area. If you need any help at the camping, please ask any of the camping hosts that work there. Please note that there is no electricity at the camping area and it’s not allowed to bring your own power generator.

LOCAL TRAVEL

Bus number 14 leaves every 30 minutes at xx:10 and xx:40 from Nygatan (bus stand H) starting at 13:10 and ending at 01:40. Buses will leave from Gasklockorna every 30 minutes at xx:03 and xx:33, from 13:33 to 02:03.

SAFETY

There will be a lot of people in a limited area so safety is a high priority. Please show respect and consideration to other festival visitors. For safety reasons, all people will be searched at the entrance. Please note that the following items aren’t allowed in the festival area or in the camping area:
 * Weapons
 * Drugs
 * Glass bottles
 * Masks
 * Flammable fluids
 * Pyrotechnics
 * Power generators
 * Animals
 * Car batteries
 * Gasol
 * Spray cans
In addition to this, the following items aren’t allowed in the actual festival area:
 * Bags, backpacks etc larger than 20 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm
 * Umbrellas
 * Food and drinks
 * Sound systems
 * SLR cameras and similar cameras

FIRE SAFETY

There are fire extinguishers and trained staff both at the festival area and the camping area. All fires are totally forbidden. Barbecues can be done at designated areas.

MEDICS

There is a lot of medics at the festival area. Please check the festival map to find the medics tent.

AGE LIMIT

Due to the Swedish authorities’ rules regading noise limits there age limit is 13 years. Recommended age limit for the camping area is 16 years.

PARKING

The parking can be found near the camping. Opening hours are Thursday 12.00 until Sunday 15.00. The cost is SEK 250 (no matter how long you stay).

LOST AND FOUND

Please go to the information close to the entrance if you have lost anything. After the festival all found items will be delivered to the Gävle Police.
